How is usage measured?
In processing seconds, counted per month over your billing period. A job bills the CPU time it used, or a minimum of 25 seconds per GB we pull out of your storage to run it — whichever is higher — so a remux that barely touches the CPU still counts. Nothing on the way out is billed: uploading the outputs and downloading them from the URL we hand you are both free. Jobs that fail or time out count too when the cause is on your side — a bad command, a broken input, an unreachable URL — because the work was already done. If the job failed on our side instead, it bills nothing.
Do downloads and uploads count toward my quota?
Only one of them does. Fetching your inputs and uploading the outputs take as long as they take, and none of those seconds are on the clock. Of the bytes they move, the only ones billed are those we read out of your storage here to feed a job: every GB sets a floor of 25 processing seconds, so a copy-only job is never free. Inputs you point at on an external URL cost you nothing, and neither does the output side — the upload or your own downloads from the result URL.
What happens if I switch plans mid-cycle?
The change applies immediately and Paddle prorates it in the same transaction. On an upgrade you're charged the difference today; on a downgrade the leftover is credited to your balance for future invoices — it isn't refunded to your card.
Can I move between monthly and annual billing?
Not from this page. Upgrades and downgrades keep the billing term you signed up with, so switching between monthly and annual needs a hand from us — get in touch and we'll sort it out.
How do I cancel?
From your profile. Cancelling is scheduled for the end of the period you already paid for, so you keep your plan's limits until then and are not billed again.
